The Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce belongs to the top health care facilities in the Czech Republic providing highly specialised medical and nursing care. The future plan of the hospital is also based on this fact; not only to keep the high professional standard, but also to offer our clients higher comfort either by using our expertise or providing non-medical services. As for the former, the first step has been prepared. Within a short period of time, the hospital will present a plan of strategic development to its grantor and, later, to the public. This plan is aimed at achieving and sustaining an economic stabilisation, and puts emphasis on the quality of medical and nursing care in accordance with international accreditation standards. The hospital sees its opportunities in the expansion of national medical care centres, provision of services for territorial emergency medical care, increase in capacities for postoperative care and medical social services, and predominantly in the expansion of the offer of medical services which are not covered by public health insurance. Research and development, incl. educational activities, will not be neglected. Enough has been said about the general aims now.

Our clients will be able to use a wider range of services provided by the Orthopaedic Clinic after its reconstruction has been completed. The same changes are planned for the pavilions of the Infection Clinic, the Surgical Clinic and the Radiation Oncology Institute. Our laboratories and their clients have had the opportunity to see a positive change not only in the newly reconstructed pavilion, but also in the closer link between their activities that should result into complex laboratory medicine. We do not have to stress the importance of closer and faster linkage to the clinics.

We know that our patients leave the hospital satisfied partly because they were treated professionally, and partly because the hospital provides a solid background not related to health care. Our clients might be bothered by difficult access to the hospital, insufficient parking capacity, bad marking of communications and pavilions, a lack of publicly accessible toilets for visitors etc, we do not want to forget about these aspects. The environment as well as our employees creates the whole image of our hospital.

We do not want these lines to become vague promises which fill this page. We want the „FHB Tomorrow“ to represent a satisfied client of our hospital.
